-Axial pressing tool for assembly is signifi cantly lighter than comparable tools
-Light, jacketed stainless steel corrugated fl exible hose from the roll – so handling could scarcely be easier
-The light weight means that overhead work can easily be carried out
Fast!
-Quick assembly of fi ttings – 7 seconds max.
-In just a few steps, the fl exible hose is cut to the required length, equipped with the proper fittings and simply bent by hand to adapt to recesses, corners or openings.
-Fittings for bends (90° and 45°) are not required
-The light weight and compact packaging method of the fl exible hoses means that transport by a single person is effortless.
Economical!
-Cost and logistical advantages accrue with increasing project scale. They result from light packaging units, straightforward handling and simple assembly.
-No intensive training required

ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE HYDRA GS
Step 1: Prepare the hose
The initial piece of the rolled-up HYDRA GS corrugated pipe must always be cut off with a clean cut prior to use. Measure the suitable pipe length.
Step 2: Cut the corrugated pipe to length
Use the corrugated pipe cutter to cut the sheathed pipe to length. The cut must be located in the groove of a corrugation. Turn the pipe cutter in one direction and slowly tighten the pressure roller after each turn. Important: Tightening too much leads to irregular cuts and deformations. Avoid kinking and tearing the corrugated pipe after an incomplete cut.
Step 3:Assemble the connection part
a) Remove sheath from the first 6 corrugations, see sketch
b) Loosen screw fitting lightly by hand
c) Push the end of the hose firmly into the fitting. There will be a positive click
d) Tighten the fitting using a wrench. The distance between the brass parts of the fitting (after
tightening) should be 0,5mm max
Step 4 : Seal the connection part
a) Wrap with adhesive tape, beginning on the hose and working towards the fitting
b) Overlap the layers by approx. 0,5cm. Make sure there are no creases
c) Wrap two layers of tape around the hose and the fitting up to the nut
