The supply of LPG tanks by ANDRIANOS is only done at super-wholesale level for full loads (trucks).
No retail sales of tanks or sales of tanks in small quantities
The LPG storage tank, according to the current Technical Regulation (GG 1257 Β' /3.9.03) is a stable metal pressure vessel, for gas storage, with more than 150 liters, cylindrical or spherical, which meets the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23 /EC.
The main reasons for choosing an LPG tank instead of gas cylinders, are (a) feasibility to meet heavy requirements and (b) economy, since cylinder fueling is much more expensive.
Installations fueled by LPG tanks are mainly used in the industrial and catering (restaurants, hotels, etc) sector but also in private residencies, when there is space available for the installation of the tank.
LPG tanks are divided into Above ground (external) and Underground. The Underground tanks are buried to ground and covered with soil. The advantage of underground tanks is the increased fire protection, while the basic advantage of above ground tanks is the economic installation.
LPG Tank Equipment: The gas tank according to the legislation must be equipped with: Filling valve, Gaseous Phase Valve, Safety Gauge, Layout Indication Level, Pressure Relief Safety Valve, Max Level Limiter/Indicator & Fluid Relief Valve.
Certificate of Manufacture: Each LPG tank must be issued with a Certificate of Manufacture in which it is listed: the Manufacturer, the Year of Manufacture, the Serial Number, the Materials used for construction, the Regulation or Standard and Compliance with Directive 97/23/EC, the Tests it has undergone & its Capacity.
ANDRIANOS since 1994, based on modern perception, knowledge and infrastructure, has contributed to the spread of LPG in Greece and distributes the leading LPG tanks in the European market, the Italian RCS & PLINOXOTAR LPG Tanks.

PLINOXOTAR LPG Storage Tank with Internal Heater
Horizontal tank for underground installation model "NATURA" with epoxy coating and cathodic protection CE marked according to Directive 97/23/CE (P.E.D) ) by notified body ISPESL ISPEL (CE 0100).
The internal heater is composed of a shell and pipe heat exhanger, positioned in the bottom of the tank, that allows, in a simple and absolute safe way, the "controlled" vaporization of LPG with running costs extremely low when considering the throughput that can be obtained (up to 300Kg/h).
Heat exhanger and control instruments (pressotake, termometer, electric panel EExi) are included in the declaration of conformity to 97/23/CE Directive (P.E.D) and 94/9 CE (Atex) and therefore the tank installation is straightforward without any additional paperword or "Declaration of incorporation" necessary when two or more CE marked items (for example an external vaporizer and a LPG storage tank) are connected together.

LPG Tanks for LPG Stations
Upon request, AUTOGAS LPG storage tanks for LPG Stations can be constructed, with 9.000lt and 18.000lt capacity. It is possible to manufacture LPG tanks according to the needs and constraints arising from the safety distances and the planning of the LPG station and in accordance with the applicable legislation.
LPG tanks up to 100,000 lt for industrial applications
Upon request, LPG Tanks with a capacity of up to 100.000lt are manufactured, suitable for industrial and craft applications, for large hotel units as well as to cover LPG storage needs by distribution companies.
LPG Storage Tanks Necessary Equipment & Production Process
LPG Tanks, whether are underground or above ground, are supplied with some necessary accessories from the manufacturer. A common procedure in the LPG industry, except the production process of new tanks, is the reconstruction of used LPG tanks and then re-certification according to technical regulations.
If you are interesting for important information about the LPG tanks, their production process and the necessaryequipment see the LPG Storage Tanks Necessary Equipment & Production Process.
