ANDRIANOS continuing the pioneering works of supplying equipment and components for gas networks and as the exclusive representative of the Italian Plinoxotar in Greece undertook the supply of LPG tanks for the Regency Casino Mont Parnes. The supply included four Plinoxotar tanks with total capacity of 80.000 lt, with integrated heat exchanger, which replaces the common vaporizer.
Plinoxotar LPG tanks with integrated heat exchanger offer the following advantages over conventional plants with external vaporization:
1)Neat installation: all fittings and reducers are factory preassembled on the tank inside the protection metal hood; it is only necessary to connect the tank output to the low pressure gas distribution line;
2)Easy installation: there is no need to realize a concrete base to positioning, no need of a metal cabinet to protect, and no need to realize a liquid line to connect the tank to the external vaporizer thus reducing the installation cost
3)Flexibility: the instruments installed on the tank control automatically the flow of hot water to the internal vaporizer to achieve the requested gas throughput;
4)Safety: the control instruments are driven by a dedicated control panel where special electronic barriers realizes an intrinsically safe electric circuit;
5)Reliability: the internal heater is positioned in the bottom of the tank so it vaporizes completely the liquid LPG present in the tank (external vaporizers installed with underground tanks may reduce the gas throughput when the level of liquid LPG in the tanks reduces under 30%)
6)Reduced maintenance: this system vaporizes the liquid LPG inside the tank creating a pressurized gas reserve ready available inside the tank thus allowing reliable gas throughput even if the user has peaks of gas request. As we take LPG from the tank already in the gas phase, the gas is clean and the clogging of the first stage reducers is highly reduced thus reducing the need of maintenance.
7)Flexibility: the gas throughput is guaranteed even with a LPG mix rich of Butane, pressure inside the tank can be adjusted simply modifying the temperature of the heating water.
