The works in the model bioclimatic house, of the Architect Engineer Fanis Loumakis, on the beach of Kalamata, were completed, where "ANDRIANOS" supplied and installed a hybrid system of heating, air conditioning and domestic hot water.
The central component of the system is the solar heating system of the Austrian company TiSUN. The innovative PRO-CLEAN tank, temperature laminating of TiSUN, was selected, with the possibility of producing hot water for space heating and hot water, with a capacity of 1250 liters, to fully cover the needs of the owners. For the collection of solar energy, are responsible the 6 solar collectors FMS of TiSUN, with a total area of 15.6 sq.m.
For the optimal heating and cooling of the spaces, the top heat pump CARRIER 30AWH of nominal efficiency of 15 kW was installed. It is a heat pump with a small frame, with high quality components, including one of the most advanced electronic inverter controllers on the market.
Finally, for the heat transfer inside the house, the AND floor-heating system was chosen, which turns the floor into a source of uniform, rich and quality heating.
It was estimated that 190 € per year would be spent on heating and air conditioning of the house, instead of 1900 € that would be needed with conventional fuel systems (oil or LPG).
The combination of the three systems ensures the greatest energy savings, because the water circulating on the floor has a temperature of 30 to 40 C, drastically reducing the operating costs of the Heat Pump (in cases where the solar heating system does not fully meet the needs) and achieving the highest degrees of efficiency, since it is fully controlled by a temperature system compensation.
