A year ago, ANDRIANOS completed the installation of LPG network at the institute for vocational training Horizon of Bougas teaching establishments in Kalamata. This network included the gas pipe network, the connection between the row of gas cylinders and the devices of insitute and the safeguards in accordance with European and Greek legislation.
Specifically, the LPG network consists of:
- Thermal Protection Valves of GOK company, for interrupting gas supply in the event of a fire.
- LPG pressure regulator with built-in shut-off valve, interrupting gas supply when there is too much pressure on the grid.
- High-End leak detection system with a specialized IP54 professional sensor from the Italian company Technocontrol, with panel and spare battery that ensures the detection and interruption of gas supply even when the power is not interrupted.
- Εarthquake protection system, activated in the event of earthquakes above 5.5 degrees, which immediately interrupts the supply of gas outside the building.
- Finally, for the connection of the devices used the stainless steel sockets by Witzenmann, according to EN 14800: 2008.
The LPG network was created with the most stringent technical specifications required by modern technical legislation, and after a year of uninterrupted and safe operation, yesterday became the first annual necessary maintenance to establish the integrity of the installation, thanks to the correct materials selection and full technical training of ANDRIANOS staff.
